Microsoft case study features ORBIT Systems

EAGAN, MINNESOTA (July 31, 2003)—ORBIT Systems, Inc., a provider of managed computer environments for small and mid-size businesses in the Twin Cities, has announced that Microsoft Corporation has selected ORBIT to participate in a Windows XP and Office XP case study along with ORBIT's new client, Arthur Shuster, Inc., the St. Paul interior design firm. The globally distributed case study will serve as a model deployment of Microsoft's latest operating system and desktop applications in a small business setting.

Microsoft Corporation has selected Arthur Shuster and ORBIT Systems to participate in a case study about Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows XP, and its latest package of desktop applications, Office XP. The case study will highlight the benefits that Arthur Shuster has experienced by upgrading to the XP platform and it will illustrate the methodologies ORBIT uses to deploy and manage small business computer systems. ORBIT was 1 of only 3 companies selected for this national recognition. In February of this year ORBIT upgraded the computers and software at Arthur Shuster's St. Paul and Wichita locations pursuant to a 4-year outsourcing agreement.

Microsoft distributed a video of the case study to a global audience of its Sales and Marketing managers at the Microsoft Global Briefing in July.
