Stephen McFarland is Named 2005 Entrepreneur of the Year

ORBIT Systems' President receives honor from TwinWest Chamber of Commerce

EAGAN, MN, May 20, 2005—Stephen McFarland, President of ORBIT Systems, has been named the "2005 Entrepreneur of the Year" by the TwinWest Chamber of Commerce. McFarland and business partner Phil Palmquist founded ORBIT Systems in 1999 to provide managed computer systems for small and mid-size companies in the Twin Cites Metro Area. McFarland was selected from the TwinWest Chamber membership of over 1,000 companies.

The TwinWest Chamber of Commerce represents over 1,000 companies doing business in the Western Metro Area. Each year the Chamber presents the "Entrepreneur of the Year" award to recognize outstanding drive, risk-taking, savvy, vision, and sense of adventure. This year's award was granted to Stephen McFarland, President of ORBIT Systems. McFarland was nominated for the award by Sarah J. Kaelberer, Vice President of Business and Estate Advisers, a long-time customer of ORBIT Systems and fellow chamber member.

McFarland and business partner Phil Palmquist started ORBIT with a unique vision of providing Fortune 500-level Information Technology services and capabilities to small and mid-size companies.
