This is the second consecutive ranking in the "Growth 50" for ORBIT. Company President, Steve McFarland, attributes ORBIT's differentiation and ongoing success to its employees.

For the second year in a row the Twin Cities Business Journal has recognized ORBIT Systems as one of the 50 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Twin Cities. Honorees are ranked based on percentage of revenue growth over a three-year period. With revenue growth of 48%, ORBIT earned a rank of 47.

ORBIT's President, Steve McFarland, credits ORBIT employees for the company's continuing success. "Our mission is to be the best customer service company in the world, and it takes a special kind of person to deliver on that mission", states McFarland. "Finding people with a great customer service attitude combined with a good technical aptitude can be challenging, and we've been very fortunate to attract key people to our organization."

Over the last 12 months the company has added more than 15 employees, including Help Desk staff, Field Technicians, Engineers, Sales staff, and a Director of Operations. McFarland emphasizes that, "With fast growth you want to be strengthening and deepening your bench at all levels in order to maintain customer satisfaction."

In addition to adding employees and new customers, ORBIT has added new services. McFarland notes that "Our fastest-growing service is Telephony. We can now provide a complete telephone solution to our clients that complements and is fully integrated with the rest of the IT services we deliver."

For 2006 and beyond, McFarland has set ORBIT's sights on growth. "Next year will be the first year of a two year plan that will see ORBIT double in size. With an intense focus on becoming the best customer service organization in the world, our people will continue to set us apart as the market leader for managed IT services."

To qualify for The Business Journal Growth 50 ranking, companies must be privately owned and headquartered in the Twin Cities nine-county metro area, have attested financial results for the three most recently completed fiscal years, and have had at least $1,000,000 in revenue in the first of the past three years. Financial results were verified by the CPA firm of Virchow Krause & Company.
